Youth Club Leader
Wanted to run established and successful award-winning youth club for 8-16 year olds in very well-equipped village hall at Wreningham, eight miles south of Norwich
Salary: up to £9 per hour depending upon experience
Main job is to take a leading role in running club night, including organising a diverse programme for the club.
General
Youth Club meets every Wednesday night, working hours from 6pm to 8pm during term time, plus separate 30 minutes preparation time. Free development training is availableCRB check will be required.
Responsibilities of youth club leader
- Organising a balanced and varied programme of activities for the youth club on Wednesday nights, including a main optional activity.
- To include for example: Arts and craft, sports indoor and outdoor, team events, occasional trips out and themed events
- Occasional fund-raising events: talent show, discos etc.
- Working alongside regular parent volunteers
- Helping maintain recognised standards of behaviour amongst young people, including respect to adult helpers.
- To attend regular management committee meetings and provide brief club reports
