Youth Club Leader
Wanted to run established and successful award-winning youth club for 14 to 18 year olds in very well-equipped village hall at Wreningham, eight miles south of Norwich
Salary: up to £9 per hour depending upon experience
Main job is to take a leading role in running club night, including organising a diverse programme for the club which is relaunching in a new format in Jan 2010.
General
Senior club meets every Wednesday night, working hours from 7.45pm to 9.45pm during term time.
Free development training is available & CRB check will be required
Responsibilities of youth club leader
- Organising a balanced and varied programme of activities for the youth club on Wednesday nights, including a main optional activity.
- To include for example: Arts and craft, sports indoor and outdoor, team events, occasional trips out and themed events
- Occasional fund-raising events: talent show, discos etc.
- Working alongside regular parent volunteers
- Helping maintain recognised standards of behaviour amongst young people, including respect to adult helpers.
- To attend regular management committee meetings and provide brief club reports
