WRENINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL
CLERK and RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER

Applications are invited for the position of Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer due to the resignation of the current clerk. 

The Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Parish Council, its budget, facilities and assets.  The post holder is required to work in partnership with other statutory bodies and the general public.  The normal place of work will be from home and the Council meets 6 times per year bi-monthly.  Extra meetings may be held based on the needs of the council with a maximum of 12 meetings per year.

Ideally, you will have a proven track record in administrative and financial management, be experienced in local government practice at the parish level and already hold, or be prepared to undertake, the Certificate in Local Council Administration.  You will also be fully computer literate.

Salary £8.91 to £10.198 per hour depending on experience and qualifications 4.2 hours each week
